Last night's Pulp Alley action at Glasgow Tradeston Wargames club. The game was "High Sierra Manhunt" from the excellent scenario posted by ragsthetiger on Lead Adventure.
The action was a four-way face off between Bill Ramsey's San Bernardino PD, Ian Morton's Fiends of Lo Chan Fu, the sinister Executive (me), and Iain McDonald's Tin-Tin and friends. The objective was to rescue kidnapped heiress Pearl Purehart from the clutches of the notorious gangster Earl "Mad Dog" Roy.
A great time was had by all and although we didn't have time to finish the game it looked likely that Pearl would fall into Lo Chan Fu's clutches. He has special plans for the green-eyed beauty...

Some pics of the characters and game follow.

Pearl has fallen into the clutches of San Bernadino's most notorious figure, Earl "Mad Dog Roy".  After his getaway van breaks down whilst making a run for the Nevada state line, Roy is forced to hole up in a cabin in the high Sierras.

The action is about to unfold:

The brave boys of the San Bernadino PD enter on the road at the bottom of the table. Stamper, sinsiter agent of the evil agency known as the Executuve, enters from the right table edge by the rocks.  Just visible towards the top of the table is officer Dribble, a lost State Trooper (and minor plot point).  Tin-Tin and friends are about to come on the top table edge and Captain Haddock will have  a very bad time trying to get Officer Dribble to join their crew.  The Fiends of Lo Chan Fu will steathily appear on the left table edge.
Roy and PEarl are in the cabin.  Roy is twichy and his twin .38s are ready to blaze.
The scene is now set for mayhem...

Some of the action:

Officer Dribble flees from an encounter with Captain Haddock.  The Executive move in to the side of the cabin.  This turns out to be a very bad move for them as they get caught in a three-way crossfire between Tin-Tin' s crew, the San Bernadino PD and Roy.  The Fiends of Lo Chan Fu continue their stealthy approach.

One of Lo Chan Fu's hatchet men tries to tame NIMBY Bear after encountering it in the woods.  However, it turns out that NIMBY Bear quite likes chinese food!

Awesome!  Very happy you enjoyed it -- looks like you put up a great table, too.   Glad to see NIMBY Bear as grouchy as ever, and the lost policeman made it as well.  Did you also include the Old Prospector and his map?
If so, you might enjoy the follow-on scenario Whomever1 and I just played -- a fight over the gold camp on the Old Prospector's map, called "All That Glitters."  Whomever will be along here in a few days with the AAR.

Hi Rags, glad you liked our version of your scenario, it was such an inspiration and gave us a really great game.
The old prospector's body (in our game he looked more like the young prospector) was hidden in the rocks and found by the San Bernadino PD.  They now have the map to the gold mine (or supplementary pension fund as they call it).  The Fiends of Lo Chan Fu found the prospector's gold in the cabin on the left table edge and it will come in very handy to have Pearl Purehart sent to Shanghai by priority shipping.
I can't wait to read your follow up and play it too.
All the best,
George.
