Well, as the color for that "bay horse" is a 50/50 mix of two colors, it might well happened before I even know it! Laugh

best reference i have found for painitng miniature horses is in the foundry painting book

it has a list of horse colours along with the foundry paint colours to get the same llok, and a section of techniques too.

i paint in foundry colours, so it works well for me - but there are plenty of online colour conversion lists and programs such as this one.
