Ran a couple of fellow club members though a game of Firefight yesterday; 1000 points of Plague Vs Fore Fathers (using my Orks). No AAR sorry, I was busy running the game.

It was a pretty bad loss for the Orks, which I will now get back to painting, thanks to actually having a game to use them in. I also took the opportunity to pull out my 1000 Point Saurian and Universal Church of Truth (Corporation and Enforcer) armies for some glamour shots.

Enjoy the pictures while they last fellas!  Cheesy

Nice. Where/how did you make these mortar weapons?

VL - The Mortars are from West Wind SOTR, Soviet Mortars.

Got pretty productive last night and finished off my "Lost Iron Legion":

Plague Murderbirds for Firefight.

I have some justification and fluff for these, but that'll have to wait for another day. Very happy with how they turned out, though.

Played an intro game against a club mate on Friday, another club mate snapped some pictures:

I won pretty conclusively, but I think my opponent will be back for more with an altered army list.

Been a while, but finally finished something else:

Plague Striders.

Built with Magnets so that all three weapon options can be fielded.

I've also started collating and writing the fluff for my armies, so I've been doing some research.  Wink

I love your free wheeling style with gaming. I fully approve of doing your own thing.

Thanks Scurv, I figure the hobby is creative, may as well go balls deep.

Just finished my Hovertank for my Plague army today:

Heavily modified 1/48 T-86[?], it became a hovertank when the track assembly looked like way too much work.
