Jaffa is a biblical city, and part of present day Tel Aviv.  So the name made me think of other things

Sorry my photog skills aren't better, I'm still learning with this camera.

Here's a closer shot of one entrance. Bit out of focus.



The base of the layout is a simple wool cloth. Easy to transport and store, plus you get unlooked for dune effects if you don't flatten it out totally.  Cheesy

Pity most of my figures have green bases really. Sad
