In my never ending quest to find just the right set of rules to run my EPSOM games, I've come around to looking at Victory Decision.  Can anyone tell me how Victory Decision handles scenarios like those presented in the Skirmish Campaign books?  The EPSOM scenarios tend to be a little 'tank heavy', with 3-5 vehicles and, in most cases, the equivalent of a reinforced platoon of infantry.  How about World at War, Agis' other WWII set?

thanks in advance

Well, you can Play the Scenarios straight away IMO.
I even have a Skirmish Campaign Rule Translation to ViDe stats you can use:
Training
T1+ = Dedicated, Nerves of Steel, Tenacity
T1 = Dedicated, Nerves of Steel
T2 = Dedicated
T3 = -
T4 = -
T5 = Untrained

Morale

A+ = Ld 7, Nerves of Steel
A = Ld 6
B = Ld 5
C = Ld 4
D = Ld 3
E = Ld 3, Untrained

Leadership
Ld is factored in the Morale values.

Notes
Platoon Leader gain the Command Ability
If an Ability applies more than one time, ignore the second ability.
So a T1 A+ unit leader is at Ld7 with the Dedicated, Nerves of Steel abilities.

Thanks Agis.  Do you modify the length of the scenarios?  I believe most of the later Skirmish Campaigns books were written for TAC, which allows double moves if you don't shoot.  This might be relevant, since many of the scenarios involve trying to capture or reach an objective before the end of the game.

Since you can do 3 moves as infantry in ViDe anyway there is no need...  Wink

Maybe read the free ViDe Downloads to get an idea:

Depending on the tablesize you're using you might want to speed up the vehicles a bit. The big scenarios require a lot of movement to get in contact with the enemy and vehicels in ViDe are slow because the game assumes they start in combat distance.
