Hello.
I have a little project than involves superheroes, in a universe mostly based on the Marvel Ultimate one. I want to create a team named "Euroforce", that would be the european equivalent of the Ultimates. It would consist of six true superheroes, and 21 supporting supersoldiers.

For your curiosity, the superheroes are:
· Fusion, from France, a nuclear powered guy, with powers similar to Superman or the Sentry. [mini]
· Nightslip, from Great britain, a female vigilante, a cross between Batman and Underworld's Selene. [mini]
· S. T. Roid, from Germany, a former bodybuilder with superstrength. [mini]
· Zenith, from Italy, a mutant with superspeed. [mini]
· Griffon, from Hungary, a mutant mix of human, lion and eagle, that flies. [mini]
· Afterburn, from Finland, a gal in a powered armour. [mini]

The problem comes when I search for minis to represent the supporting supersoldiers from the other european countries. Mind you, I don't need nor want 21 of them; I'd be happy with 10 at most.
But what can I use? They could be represented with futuristic soldier minis. I have some plastic tau fire warriors, and I had thought about converting them with human legs and arms, perhaps from the new Defiance Games marines (if and when they get released). Or the Mantic corporation troopers.
I've also had a look at Infinity minis. They have some nice designs (albeit a tad too futuristic), but no army has more than five "basic soliders", and that's too few.

Anything you can suggest?

I'm not sure what you time scale is on this, but I'm working on some generic comic book troopers, and one of the head options is for a regular human head with an ear piece, sort of a SHIELD type trooper.

We're shooting for a June release.

Perhaps you could take also a look on Heroclix SHIELD figures. There is (as far as I know) at least 2 series of them. Maybe enough to build 6-8 diferent figures. They come out nicely once they are stripped and repainted.

Maybe a mix of some of the old Void Syntha and Viridians?

In fact, I've just spent the evening looking at Void stuff. Specifically I was thinking of perhaps using the plastic viridian marines and junker legionaries, kitbashed together. But the plastic junkers are nowhere to be found Sad (hence my request at both the FoD and the bazar here).

I've also eyed the "second generation" syntha prosthene marines, that Dr. Falkenhayn has been using in his tomorrow's war project; but again they seem to be out of production. Frown

I've thought about using them, but decided against because I can't see them working with the other minis from my collection of superheroes.

Right now I'm just waiting to do some (Void) business with Dr. Falkenhayn...
