It freakin' blows my mind that so many of these stores don't have any (or adequate) pictures of the miniatures they're selling.

How do they plan on selling anything if I can't see what I'm buying?  I wonder how some of these companies stay in business.

Does anyone make semi-modern Chinese?  Or anything that could perhaps pass as them (it'd be tough since they're rockin' that new rifle now).  Just curious.  Cheers.  Also, does anyone do 28mm plastics for modern models?  I haven't seen any.

Modern Chinese - Although the "Battlefield Evolution" range has been discontinued, Mongoose still has some modern Chinese vehicles in its webshop.  I can't remember if they still have any infantry, but ebay might throw something up.  Nowhere near as nice as Colonel Stone's figures, anyway.

Cool, perfect.  Thanks!  Is there a thread around here with 28mm vehicle listings?  I know this the bane of modern 28mm wargaming...

Yes and no. They make the older LVTP and here is a picture of the one that I purchased from them.
