Welcome back!

Another great addition, and you wont hear any complaints from me about Bob's works.
Love it!

Yet another Olley mini (from Ral Partha this time).  This guy is basically carrying a ballista, which is pretty nasty.  If you get hit by a bolt from that thing, your ain't getting back up for damn sure!  I can see him causing all manner of problems for our heroes.  Anyway, I've got two more Trolls to do and that's it Olley-wise (unless I buy anything else, of course...).

For most of this thread I've been banging on about the dungeon crawl rules - now provisionally titled Cavern Crawl - that I've been slowly putting together.  These started out as a straight mash-up of Mordheim/Coreheim and Advanced HeroQuest, but have grown over time into something rather more original.  They are still somewhat rough and there will doubtless be typos, repetitions and omissions that will cause the reader to scratch their head (in which case contact me!).  Also I have not completed the prices for equipment and the Prayers need sorting out (amongst other tweaks), but as the basic rules themselves are now written up in their entirety I thought I'd share them in order to garner feedback and because some of you have expressed interest in the past.  Anyway, here's the link:

Cavern Crawl

Bear in mind that my intention with CC is merely to devise a serviceable set of rules with moderate character development et cetera for personal use and that I am NOT looking to publish these rules, but to merely share them with interested and like-minded persons.  Let me know what you think!

I've downloaded them for a quiet moment. I'll drop you a PM with my thoughts when that quiet moment finally comes!

Initial impressions are that it looks good; a nice balance between being streamlined but still having a bit of 'crunch' with the stats and equipment lists. Well done for finishing them, my rules are still languishing, 75% done  Roll Eyes

Loving the Bob Olley guys - great stuff  Cool

Will have a read of your rules - got a set of dungeon adventurers lurking in the lead pile who could do with a coat of paint and an outing some time this century!

Some new evil types for the dungeon. An OOP Olley's Armies Troll and an OOP (I think) GW Saruman. If required more details are provided on my worthless blog.

Awesome job, thanks for sharing!  Smiley

Your dungeon is very inspiring.  Those spiders were fantastic, made me inch back in my chair haha I love it.  Laugh

Also, thanks for sharing your rules, I've enjoyed reading through them.  Refreshing to step away the old D6!

When fighting the thousand, you must still defeat them one at a time.
