Hi all, I've managed to get back to this project after getting distracted by restarting my Vietnam painting. I also got interested in the Falklands Conflict which meant buying a few figures and vehicles.

I made a couple of decisions about this project as I was not happy about the look of the Norman figures so repainted the shields and will use them as my Saga Norman Warband. More work has been done on the Castle. First the dungeon wall and rails.

I dont think it will be possible to play in certain areas of the castle like the stairwell, and also think it looks a bit odd to have the Castle in pieces while playing a Demo game. So am thinking of using cardboard plans off table to place figures on.

I have a bunch of BlackTree early Medieval figures painted up in a modified scheme from the original painting. Plus more Merry Men to post later. I've just ordered some Perry horses to remount the Blacktree figures on as the BT ones are horrible and did not improve with painting Sad

Funny but I've gone back to my old 3.2 megapixal camera from which I can post unmodified pictures straight to the Web, which look better than my newer camera. Cool

I hope this is still of interest as its been so long since I started this.
Dan.

Seriously impressed with the work that you have done on the interior, Dan.

The Hall looks great, and the 'IKEA' stairway is bloody brilliant!

Seconded, glad to see this project resurface. Smiley

Mine has been a real slow burner, felling inspired to get stuck in again. Smiley

Yep, good to see this continuing - I have an 'on/off' Robin Hood project lying around as well, so any source of inspiration is always appreciated; and this one is great! That stairway especially... Love

Thanks for the replies.
I really needed a break as after watching everything I could get my hands on, I ended up really confused about what I was trying to achieve.
I've also undercoated and filled all the walls and towers and will post a photo of that when I next get the camera out.

I thought I'd do an update as I now have a much better camera and a new Blog. I will be doing the WIP's here and mainly posting the finished stuff on the Blog.
http://wadesworldofwargaming.blogspot.co.nz/2013/04/robin-hood-some-progress-made.html

I have almost finished the interior of the Keep but am waiting for some bits from Mega Miniatures to furnish it.

A general view of the Courtyard. A stables will be fitted where the four horses are standing which is next to a small Blacksmiths hovel.
There is also a base for the gallows in the centre.

You can also see the handmade shield which I have been fitting to the figures.

A view of the outside.
