Every year Jeff Wasileski amazes me with his ingenuity, be it traditional VSF, Weird War 2 or as in this case VSF 1800s style:

Jeff always has cheerfully out-of-control games. I chatted with him briefly about what he had on the table. The balloons are Fiddler's Green paper models with da Vinci paddlewheel boat models. In fact a number of things are based on the Italieri da Vinci kits -- the cart, tank, and copter. Not sure if the Stephenson's Rocket is the Airfix kit or something else. Some friends got into the game, but unfortunately it was sold out before I could get a ticket.

I love the "bandstand" although it reminds me that my own Eureka string quartet still languishes in the lead mountain. Cry

Looking at these I got a wave of pure unadulterated pleasure wash over me. Just a joy to see this sort of stuff. Imaginative, well carried out, and full of wit and humour.

Additional photos posted on bogdanwaz' blog http://bogdanwaz.blogspot.fr/2012/07/ben-franklins-war.html
I hope to see some day the 'dragonfly cavalry' harassing that Ottoman skyship from bogdanwaz' previous 'Age of Reason' game!
