I know a lot of people have looked at Batman as a Super Hero and even Weird World War mini, but how about in the horror genre?
He has had some titles that would warrant it. Ones that come to mind;
  • Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham Cthulian mythos comes to Gotham
  • Batman & Dracula: Red Rain, Bloodstorm and Crimson Mist. Dracula comes to Gotham and Batman becomes a monster to fight him.
  • Batman: Haunted Gotham Demons have a hold on Gotham and all who enter.
  • Batman: Gotham by Gaslight and it's Sequel: Batman: Master of the Future This is Victorian Batman
Just wondering if anyone has done anything with this?

For some reviews

There's even a Heroclix figure of the Vampire Batman (Cosmic Justice #95)

I've pitted the Dark Knight against the zombie horde in 1940s Gotham, and he didn't fare to well.  Similar to the pic below.  Batarangs, acid pellets and even a Thompson couldn't help him in that game.

I was discussing batman in tabletop and rpg’s with my girlfriend recently and we came to the conclusion that you can’t really do it. In the oh so many VS topics that you have all over the internet the general conclusion is batman gets his ass kicked the first time, but he is a master of escape, then once he has a plan he will win.

There are also the recent Batman and the Monster Men and Batman and the Mad Monk, both by Matt Wagner.  Both were kind of horrorish.

Cool idea. Since it's a brainchild of LAF, why not just use Strange Aeons and write up stats for the Batman? Just make him buffed enough that he can stand in for a whole team of agents by himself.  Either that or use could use the superfigs system blended with Chaos in Carpathia. Given that the batman is solo, you could even do some solo gaming in this vein.

I've always fancied Batman in a Gaslight / Gothic Horror scenario.

Not all that much, the mainly collects Warhammer night goblins.  Cheesy

But to elaborate, I think that in any game there, for me, would very quickly be a feeling that he can’t do all he should be able to.  Batrang, grappling hooks and gliding cloak one can stat up, but the crime fighting rich kid has a lot more tricks up his sleeve.

Depends on the figure. They are kind of all over.

I base my clix on washers instead of the round plastic bases.  I makes them a little lower and kind of tricks the eye into making it all look the same.  At least it works for me.  Some of them are a little big though.
